Mission Spot: Pray this week for Sam Staley at Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Oregon. Sam’s work at the ranch involves leading sessions, doing maintenance work, and working with the horses. Currently, he is co-leading a weekly boy’s club. Sam asks for prayer that he would tap into God’s strength when he goes through hard times. Beth Glick has requested the transfer of her membership to the Wellspring Community Church in Clayton, NC.
Morning Worship Service Prayer: Beginning in September we will once again be inviting you to volunteer, along with one elder, to pray in the prayer room each Sunday during the morning worship service. A schedule is on the table by the prayer request box outside the prayer room. Each Sunday after the morning worship service and during the Sunday school period anyone may use the prayer room as a quiet place for prayer and meditation.
The local Mennonite Disaster Service is planning a trip to work in Diamond, Lousiana the week of November 9th. For more information, contact Paul Yoder at 483.6279.

17 Sun -“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.” - Matt. 28:19,20
18 Mon -Pray today for the college students from our church who will be traveling to schools this week and next to begin classes soon. Pray for God to guide the freshmen in their classes, with their friends and roommates, and in their adjustment to being away from home.
19 Tues - Our local schools begin next week. Pray for administrators, teachers, and staff who are members of our church family. This includes Gregg and Brian, local soccer coaches; Ann Kanagy, superintendent; Karen Kramm, Angie Knable, staff members, and teachers Charity Kauffman, Tami (Mrs Nathan) Peachey, Tami (Mrs Max) Peachey, and Randy Yoder at BMS; and Jim Bailey, Dave Byler, Brenda Mathews, Alan Miller, Ashley Suydam, Bobbi Yoder, Christian Yoder, Julie Yoder, and Pat Yoder in several local schools,
20 Wed -Continue to pray for Frank Hartzler in his recovery from eye surgery, and for John L. Yoder who plans to have eye cataract surgery tomorrow at Geisinger in Danville. Pray also for Charvin & Billie Jo, anticipating the birth of their baby tomorrow by C-section.
21 Thurs -Bob Plank, David Kanagy & Tom Zook will be leaving today to fly to Cluj Romania to finish an apartment for YWAM staff members.
Pray for Alin, Gabi, and Melissa as they anticipate the birth of a new baby, and a new apartment from which to direct the work of YWAM in Romania.
22 Fri - Pray for Joseph Zook and Bethany Zook who were accepted for REACH mission teams this year. Bethany Zook will be on a team to Thailand, and Joseph will go to South Africa. This coming Sunday they will be hosting a fund-raising lunch in the church fellowship hall.
23 Sat - Pray for Max as he prepares to bring the morning message tomorrow and for Alan Miller as he leads the worship team.
